What is LuLaRoe?

Lularoe is a clothing company that sells its products exclusively through independent fashion consultants, like me (soon!).

Who is Lularoe?
Deanne, the owner/founder, named the company for her first three granddaughters. Lucy, Lola,  and Monroe. All the clothing styles are also named for people who are special to Deanne.

What is special about Lularoe clothing?
The clothing is "simply comfortable" and beautiful! The clothes are stretchy and move with you. They are designed to flatter almost every body and the women's line runs from XXS to 3XL (from about size 00 to approximately size 26)! Plus, there are kids clothes from size 2T to size 14 (leggings, skirts, dresses and tops - and boys can wear the tops - my son just got one and loves it!) and newly launched men's t-shirts, too!

But that's not the only special thing about Lularoe clothing. Another huge deal is that artists work everyday on beautiful new fabrics (our head of design is formerly from Anthropologie). These artists' fabrics are always made in limited runs. Each fabric is made into about 2,500 pieces of clothing. They might be made into leggings, skirts, dresses and tops across a number of sizes. Then, those pieces are sent out to a variety of consultants across the country. All that means that if you purchase a piece, you might well be the only person in your area to have one like it! It also means that if you see something you love, you might want to buy it, because there's a good chance you won't see another one like it anywhere else.

What are these "buttery leggings" I've heard about?
Lularoe is known for their "buttery leggings"! "Buttery" because they are so incredibly soft! They are also super stretchy with a fold-over waist band that doesn't pinch (even if you have a bit of a paunch like me). They move with you and feel like a second skin. The leggings come in solids and patterns. It's hard to really convey how wonderfully comfortable (and fun!) they are without trying them out!

Why can't I shop from a catalog or buy directly from Lularoe?
There are a few reasons. One big one is the limited runs. Another is that Lularoe encourages interpersonal interaction through sales of its products.

If I see a something I like, but it's not in my size, can you order it for me? 
Please let me know if there's something you're looking for. I will certainly keep my eyes peeled for you. But the truth is, no, we don't order specific designs in each size. However, sometimes I might be able to find something through my teammates and I'd be able to direct you to her shop, so it doesn't hurt to ask! If there's a particular piece you are desperately seeking, you've found one thing: your unicorn! (That's what we call a piece that you are trying to find.)

Aren't you in competition with your team? How on earth can that be a "supportive" environment?
No, we're not in competition! My inventory isn't the same as anyone else's because of the limited runs. We might both have the same top in the same pattern, but the one in my stock is a Medium and hers is an XL. Or we might both have a few Nicole dresses in each size, but none are duplicate fabrics, so we don't have the same pieces. I want my teammates to succeed and they want me to succeed. It is supportive because we are on similar journeys. And we all want to help our guests feel great about themselves!
